Nomic

Nomic is a game where changing the rules of the game is the game. Ever since I read about Nomic, originally introduced by Peter Suber, I have been obsessed with it. I currently maintain some active and some less-than-active Nomics, listed below.

Nomic.py

A solitaire Nomic written in Python, based on a custom system of callbakcs and hooks inspired my hours tinkering with GNU Emacs. I published a short post detailing its basic structure here

The Great AI Nomic

A version of Nomic which uses LLMs to mediate rules disputes. Currently canvasing for new players
